Tell me about your firm

Your answers decide what I suggest when we talk, so these are the questions I'd ask across a table. The first four are required. Answer the rest in your own words, as briefly as you like.

Leave client names out. The NDA comes before we discuss anything specific.

This may be for you if

  • A named professional at your firm signs the work: a technical report, an actuarial opinion, an expert report, an engineer's stamp.
  • You're 10 to 30 people, and senior hours are the scarce thing in the firm.
  • Your methods took years to build, and you want AI to help with them without anyone else learning them.
  • Your team already uses AI in some form, and you want rules everyone can follow.

Probably not the right fit if

  • You want a chatbot rolled out across the company.
  • You're looking for a fractional head of AI.
  • You want the model to do the arithmetic. It doesn't, in anything I build.

A technical report a Qualified Person signs, an actuarial opinion, an expert report for litigation, a lender's report with an engineer's stamp. Whatever it is, I want to know what the last page looks like.

I've built this for firms of 10 to 30 people. Bigger or smaller is fine. It changes what I'd suggest.

Typical answers: "a few people use ChatGPT on their own," "we've banned it until we have a policy," "we're on Copilot and nobody's sure what it does with our files," "we have one person running automations." There's no wrong answer.

Reading data rooms and third-party reports, comparing a new project against past ones, checking a draft against the standard, or something further from the deliverable: intake, scheduling, reporting, billing. Name the work, not the tool.

Client files, your templates and checklists, the method itself. Say it in your words; it decides the architecture before anything gets built.

A partner, a committee, or "it just happens." All three are normal.

Hours back, a faster ramp for new hires, a checker you trust before you sign, an answer you can give a client who asks whether you use AI.

I read every answer myself and reply within one business day.
